The Leeds Active Women (LAW) is a group that organizes many activities in the community as well as fundraising each year to support local youth activities and other community needs.  LAW organizes an Easter egg hunt, Halloween party, and Santa day each year.  They sell fireworks each summer and community calendars each fall as their main fundraisers.  Every other year they also hold an adult ball in the spring.  A few of the events LAW donates to include the youth baseball program, swimming pool, and annual youth golf tournament.  They also led a fundraising campaign to purchase welcome banners for the light poles in preparation for the 125th celebration in 2012.
