The Leeds EDC plays an integral part in promoting the business climate and housing needs for our community, as well as assisting the city in developing infrastructure to meet the demands of a growing community.

Past projects include the Leeds EDC Addition for housing lots, construction of the current Leeds City Hall Building, and assisting Noridian Administrative Services to locate in Leeds in leased space in the City Hall Building.  The committee has also worked with various small businesses in Leeds assisting in opening or expanding, including the Little Lions daycare facility.  The EDC owns the Leeds gaming sites with the profit distribution controlled by a separate Gaming Committee, which provide grants to local groups and organizations.

The Leeds EDC also maintains a charitable gaming permit and holds Bingo every Monday night at Earl's Bar, as well as pull tab machines at both Earl's Bar and Back 40 Bar.  The gaming board meets quarterly to disperse funds to community organizations/causes based on requests submitted to the board.  Request for Gaming Funds forms can be found under Information and Downloadable forms on this website.
